Personality

In our daily lives, we meet several people and some of them makes an undeniable impression on us. We admire them or feel attracted to them. They edify and inspire us so much that we look up to them and want to be like them. They holds a strong and forceful image in our minds. We suppose them to be very dynamic, successful and capable individuals. Personality is not made up of physical stature or the external appearance as is often misunderstood.

Personality consists of the distinctive characteristics or qualities of an individual. It is what distinguishes one individual from another and sets one apart in any group. It is the sum total of all qualities that one possesses. An individual may have a strong and forceful personality or a weak personality. 

It has been said that we become what we wish to become. There is a deep tendency in human nature to become precisely like the person that one habitually imagines oneself to be. If we wish to have an impactful personality, we can develop it. In today's world some push or forcefulness is a must. However, it should not be overdone so as to become aggressive or selfish disregarding the rights and wishes of others. 

One of the most important ingredients for a forceful personality is to have an ambition. Every situation should be regarded as an opportunity to one's ambition. Spectators never become winners. Another ingredient of a forceful personality is initiative. Directions are orders should never be awaited, sometimes one should strike on their own but fear of risk or criticism prevents many from being successful.

Knowing fully well the advantage of possessing a forceful personality should be the endeavour to develop it. Efforts should be made at the initial stage and to face difficult people and situations. A forceful personality developed in this way will be an asset throughout the life.
